educational Media Minor
At JMU, I completed an educational Media Minor. I have since used it to create many flyers for my own students, as well as school wide events. I also have put it to good use creating various activities for my classroom, see teaching samples. It has also been a great resource to have during this virtual learning. I also feel as though it would be extremely beneficial in a library setting.
Sample work from my Educational Media minor
These are some of the various projects that I completed for my Visual Literacy, class. I took this class during May which is Lyme Disease Awareness month so the projects centered around Lyme Disease. The projects below are a brochure I designed using pixlr, a tip poster I designed using pixlr, and a logo I designed using Photoshop.
For the capstone course of this minor, our class created sample logos for a local school's new website focusing on their five Areas of Excellence. The logo below is the logo that my partner and I created for the leadership area.
There were two other course that I completed for this minor. The two classes were titled Photography for Learning and Web Design for Learning. I feel as though the Web Design Learning tools may be the most useful tools I obtained from this minor for my career in teaching. The buttons below link to sample work from these two classes.
